BASIC DIVER

The SSI Basic Diver Program is an introductory course designed for those who want to try diving in a safe and controlled manner. This program is ideal for those with no prior diving experience who want to explore the underwater world in a supervised environment.

The program is divided into 3 blocks: The first block is theory. An introduction to the fundamental principles of diving, such as the physics of diving, health and safety underwater, basic diving equipment, and marine ecology. The second block consists of practical sessions in a pool or confined waters so that students can familiarize themselves with the equipment and learn the necessary skills to move safely underwater. The third block is the best part of the program: an open water dive under the supervision of a certified instructor. This is the moment when you put into practice what you have learned in real conditions.
